Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Rankstone ("Rankstone," "we," "us") concerning your access to and use of the website rankstone.org and all related services, forums, marketplaces, and content (collectively, the "Service").

2. The Rankstone Service

Rankstone provides a multi-faceted platform that allows users to create public digital profiles, participate in community forums, and engage in peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace transactions. We act solely as a venue and service provider to facilitate these interactions.

3. User Accounts & Eligibility

Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years of age to create an account and use the general Service. However, to list items for sale or make purchases in the marketplace, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the explicit permission and supervision of a legal guardian.

Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify Rankstone immediately of any unauthorized use of your credentials.

4. Marketplace and Peer-to-Peer Transactions

Rankstone is a Venue

The Rankstone marketplace allows users to offer, sell, and buy items. Rankstone is not a party to the transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not own, create, sell, resell, provide, control, manage, offer, deliver, or supply any listings or items.

User Responsibilities

Sellers are entirely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the legality of the items sold, and fulfilling the delivery of goods or services. Buyers are responsible for reading listing descriptions and making informed purchasing decisions. Rankstone does not guarantee the existence, quality, safety, or legality of items advertised; the truth or accuracy of users' content or listings; or the ability of sellers to sell items or buyers to pay for items.

Future Payment Processing

Rankstone may integrate third-party payment processors to facilitate secure transactions. By using these features when available, you agree to be bound by the respective third-party payment processor's terms of service. Rankstone is not liable for any issues arising from the processing of payments by third parties.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC)

You are responsible for all text, images, forum posts, marketplace listings, and other materials you upload ("UGC"). You retain ownership of your UGC. By submitting UGC, you grant Rankstone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content to operate and promote the Service. We reserve the right to remove any UGC that violates these Terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct and Acceptable Use

To maintain a safe environment and comply with financial regulations, you agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Sell, offer, or promote illegal items, stolen goods, illicit drugs, weapons, or highly regulated products.
• Engage in fraudulent activities, scams, or money laundering.
• Post content that is hateful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or promotes violence.
• Post sexually explicit or pornographic material.
• Infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.).
• Distribute malware, viruses, or engage in unauthorized scraping/data mining.

Violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination and potential reporting to law enforcement.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts (e.g., Discord, GitHub, Epic Games). Rankstone does not control these services and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RANKSTONE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RANKSTONE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTIONS MADE THROUGH THE MARKETPLACE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rankstone and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your transactions with other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
